Mikel Arteta has made three changes to his Arsenal side for tonight’s Premier League clash away to Everton, with Martin Ødegaard returning to the starting XI to captain the team at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
The manager has reshuffled his pack following last weekend’s 2–1 victory over Wolves. Ødegaard comes back into the side in place of Ebere Eze, while Riccardo Calafiori also returns after serving a suspension.
Calafiori replaces Ben White, who was forced off early with an injury against Wolves. As a result, Jurrien Timber is expected to shift back to right-back, with Piero Hincapié moving into central defence.
The final change sees Leandro Trossard recalled to the starting XI, with Gabriel Martinelli named among the substitutes alongside Eze.
Everton Forced Into Changes
Everton have also made three alterations to the side that suffered a 2–0 defeat at Chelsea last weekend, with all changes enforced.
Idrissa Gana Gueye and Iliman Ndiaye have departed for the Africa Cup of Nations, while Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is sidelined for several weeks after picking up a hamstring injury. They are replaced by Tim Iroegbunam, Dwight McNeil, and Carlos Alcaraz.
Starting Line-Ups

Pickford, O’Brien, Keane, Tarkowski, Mykolenko, Garner, Iroegbunam, McNeil, Alcaraz, Grealish, Barry.
