Popular Small-Size Actress Aunty Ajara Dies After Liver Illness [VIDEO]

Popular Nigerian small-size actress, popularly known as Aunty Ajara, has passed away.

Aunty Ajara reportedly died in the early hours of Thursday, February 5, 2026, following a brief battle with a liver-related illness.

Her death was confirmed to her family by medical doctors on Thursday morning.

The sad news was announced in a viral video shared on social media by her elder brother, Ridwan Lazeez, who also expressed deep appreciation to Nigerians and supporters across the world for the financial assistance and prayers extended to the actress during her illness.

Sharing the announcement video on Instagram, popular content creator Mama No Network wrote:

“With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved actress, Aunty Ajara. She passed on overnight after a long and courageous battle with illness.

During this difficult period, Ajara received immense love, prayers, and financial support from kind-hearted people across the world. We are deeply grateful to everyone who stood by her with prayers, contributions, encouragement, and compassion.

Punch Newspaper reports that Aunty Ajara’s death comes just days after several of her colleagues and well-wishers took to social media to solicit financial support to help with her medical treatment.
