The Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Torch Relay will resume on 26 December 2025, following a two-day Christmas break. The 19th stage of the relay will take the Olympic Flame across Campania and Lazio, travelling from Caserta to Latina, with stops in Formia, Gaeta, and Sabaudia.

The day’s journey highlights some of southern and central Italy’s most scenic and historic locations, blending cultural heritage, coastal landscapes, and vibrant city centres.

The Day’s Programme
- Caserta | 8:50 a.m.
The relay will begin in Caserta, where the first torchbearers will carry the Flame through the city streets and the historic gardens of the Royal Palace of Caserta, a masterpiece of Bourbon architecture and a symbol of Italy’s cultural heritage. - Formia | 11:40 a.m.
The Flame will arrive in Formia, crossing the seaside promenade and the city’s main squares, bringing the Olympic spirit to the heart of the community. - Gaeta | 12:40 p.m.
In Gaeta, the relay will pass through historic neighbourhoods and panoramic coastal roads, offering spectacular views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. - Sabaudia | 4:00 p.m.
The route will continue to Sabaudia, featuring a segment immersed in the natural landscapes of the Circeo National Park and the city’s distinctive rationalist architecture. - Latina | Grand Finale
The day will conclude in Piazza della Libertà, Latina, where celebrations will include live shows, artistic performances, and community festivities, marking the arrival of the Flame and building excitement for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
