Christmas Celebrations Begin in Gaza

Christmas celebrations have begun at the only Catholic church in Gaza.

The Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem for Israel and Palestine, Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, said Catholic worshippers are living under extremely difficult conditions.

In July, an Israeli attack killed three people at the church.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he deeply regretted the incident, stating that the strike hit the church by mistake.
